Well firstly, we are VERY sorry that we have only done one post as of yet (this being our 2nd of course!) Our new blog venture hasn’t started off as good as we hoped. One reason for that is being that this week we returned to school for the new term so not creating excuses or anything but it has been an extremely busy week for the both of us!
Anyway we are here now and so on with the show (okay that sounded really cheesy!)
So, last Saturday I (Emily) and two of our friends (Lucy and Lizzy) all gathered round Charlotte’s house for her birthday ‘party’ I suppose you could call it although being 17 now, have to admit ‘birthday party’ sounds very childish! Anyway so yes the 4 of us enjoyed a lovely and extremely lengthy evening round Charlotte’s house which entailed photo taking, laughing, eating, music and the Wii amongst other things! The Wii never tires of fun no matter how old you are it has to be said! The 3 of us stayed for the night and well the ‘night’ ended up being ‘morning’ extremely quickly... the 4 of us stayed awake until 7am (not getting into bed until gone 6am!) something that we regretted the next day when we returned to school with bags big enough to put your shopping in under our eyes!
The night was long yes, but it was a great laugh, and it is always nice spending quality time with your closest friends :) Unfortunately, we have got only one group photo of the night which is a shame as we need to brighten up our blog don’t we!
Anyway here are a few (and it really is a few) pictures that Charlotte and I took before the party started, they are supposed to represent ‘getting ready for a party’ because well that was exactly what we were doing!
